How do I capture a receipt?βΎ
Simply tap the "Capture" button in the bottom navigation bar to open the camera. You can also upload existing images from your gallery.
What banks can I import from?βΎ
Currently, we support automated imports from standard CSV formats for all major South African banks including Standard Bank, FNB, Absa, and Nedbank.
How do I generate a monthly report?βΎ
Navigate to the "Reports" tab, select your desired date range, and tap "Generate PDF" or "Export CSV".
Can I edit a receipt after saving?βΎ
Yes, tap on any receipt in your History view and select the "Edit" icon to modify amounts, dates, or categories.
Is my data backed up securely?βΎ
All receipt images and data are encrypted and synced to the cloud securely in real-time. POPIA Β§3.9 β you can request migration to af-south-1 self-host from Organisation settings.
How does AI classify receipts?βΎ
Each receipt image is sent server-side to Gemini via OpenRouter. Extracted fields are marked with a sparkle (β¨) so you know to verify before saving.
What happens at period close?βΎ
All journals up to the close date are locked. Re-opening requires Owner role + counsel approval and is audit-logged.
